Lapwing summer party
Residents at Lapwing Apartments recently enjoyed their Summer Party with entertainment from Andy Pheonyx (country singer) along with a buffet and drinks. Over 40 residents and family attend the event, and everyone had a great time. The feedback we had was it was the best event yet!! The weather was great too!
The theme of the event was country and western, and so we decorated with tablecloths and bunting and table decorations.
Residents really enjoyed a sing along, hand clapping, foot tapping and knee slapping and some dancing too!
Events like this are so important in the life of our extra care communities, bringing together residents and their families to enjoy multi-generational time together - and great food, drink and music always helps!
